Step 1. Insert an SD memory card into a card-reading slot on your computer, or into a slot on a card reader connected to your computer. Drag books stored in the PDF or EPUB format from a folder on your computer to the icon of the SD card on your desktop. Right-click on the SD card and select "eject". Pull it from the slot.

Step 2. Press the "Power" button to turn off the Kobo eReader. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot at the top of the reader, then press the "Power" button to turn on the eReader.

Step 3. Plug your Kobo eReader to computer with USB cable. The eReader will prompt you to either continue reading, or to manage your library.

Step 4. Press the navigation pad to select "Manage Library". At the prompt, select "Open Folder to View Files".

Step 5. Click on electronic books stored in the EPUB or PDF format in a folder on your computer. Drag them into the eReader window to copy them from your computer to the device.
