Android Devices FAQ
This article are some of frequently asked questions and experience I summed up after I play Android devices was for some time. Hope the following Android devices FAQ can be useful for Android devices owners.
1. Does Andrews Tablet PC have file size limit?
The file size here is video size. The Android devices have the file size limit. Some friends said that their files couldn't be used on Android Tablet or phone. If you are careful, you may find that the Tablet PC's file format is FAT32, that is to say, if your file exceeds 4GB, it can't be imported. Some file over 2GB(not 4GB) can be imported to Android devices, but users can't move or delete the imported files using Android default files manager. Therefore, the file size on Android devices is limited. (Related: Play iTunes Movies on Android)
2. How to display plugged subtitles when playing videos on Android devices?
Samsung Galaxy Tab, Samsung Galaxy S(2) have the function in their default player. If the videos can be supported and played on the default players, you can place the subtitles file into the same folder of video file. And make the file name be the same. Then you can see the plugged subtitles when watching videos. But if your devices are not so powerful, don't worry. Download and install such a player from Android market.
3. What is the best player on Android devices?
The question can be seen in some forums. Some people recommended those they used. Some are free, some need to be paid. And I have also tested some of the recommended players on Android devices. Some of them are really powerful. It is essential to own one or two great Android video players. But I think, the best player is that one which is the default player when you buy the Android device. Others may have problems when used, such as audio and video can't be synced, some videos have images but no sounds, some videos have sound but no images, and so on.
4. What is the best video format supported by Android devices?
After testing, I find that the best video format for Android devices is MP4 which has H.264 code. (Related: Convert DRM Video to Android Phone)
